Sheikh Shady Al Sulleiman
Shaykh was born in Sydney – Australia from a Palestinian family who migrated to Australia in the late 60’s. He completed his School Certificate in Sydney before heading overseas on a seven year journey seeking Islamic knowledge in the muslim world. He initially obtained an Ijaza with sanad (complete chain back to the Prophet S.A.W.S.) in complete and sound memorization of the Quran at Pakistan. He then traveled to Damascus – Syria to continue his Islamic and Arabic studies at numerous Islamic Institutions and on the Hands of different scholars in Syria. In Syria, he specialized in Arabic and Comparative Fiqh (Islamic Law/Jurisprudence) and received numerous Ijaza’s in Fiqh, Usul Al-Fiqh and Hadith and other Islamic sciences. He currently lives in Sydney and is greatly involved in the muslim community and works closely with the Australian Muslim youth. He operates from Australia’s largest mosque and Islamic centre (Masjid Ali Bin Abi Taleb known as Lakemba Mosque). Shaykh lives with his wife and two beautiful sons in Sydney
Shaykh Khalid Abdul Sattar
Shaykh Khalid Abdul Sattar was born in Chicago in 1974. He completed his bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the Stern School of Business at New York University (NYU) in 1997.
After graduation, he began studying with local scholars in Chicago. In 2003, he traveled to Pakistan to further advance his knowledge of the traditional Islamic sciences. There he dedicated five years to a full-time course of studies under some of the most accomplished scholars of the sub-continent. In 2008, he formally graduated with a degree in Islamic Studies. He also received his teaching licenses in various Islamic subjects, including, Classical Arabic, Hanafi Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh and Hadith.
Currently, he works full-time as a consultant and web-developer. He is also teaching Arabic and Hanafi Fiqh with Sacred Learning, a Chicago-based learning institute. He currently resides in Maryland with his family.
Shaykh Dr. Hussain Ahmed
Shaykh Dr. Hussain Ahmed is a scholar residing in the UK who has studied under some of the highest authority of the day, namely Shaykh Hussain ibn Ahmed Usayran, Shaykh Assadar Ali, Shaykh Adib Kallas, Shaykh Abdur Razzak al-Halabi, Shaykh Sulayman bin al Ghawiji al Albani, Shaykh Salman Nadwi amongst others and has taken Ijazat (Unbroken chains of Transmission) from them. The Shaykh has over 2,500 Ijazas from more than 40 shuyukh.
Shaykh Hussain had traveled from an early age in search for Knowledge. Countries he visited are Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and others. Shaykh also holds a PhD in Applied Chemistry.
Shaykh Sulaiman Ghani
Born and raised in a scholarly family from South Africa. Shaykh Sulaiman Ghani had embarked on a journey to seek knowledge. His thirst for knowledge took him to Al Azhar University, Cairo, Islamic University of Madinah, various insititutes in Karachi and South Africa. He also studied in SOAS University.
Shaykh Qari Saad Nomani
Shaykh Sa’ad Nu’mani is the famous Qari who can imitate more than 75 different voices of famous Qurra from around the word including Shaykh Abdur Rahman Al Sudais, Shaykh Ash-Shuraim, Shaykh Mahir, Shaykh Sa’ad Al Ghamidi, Shaykh Ahmed Ali Al Ajimy and the list goes on.
The Shaykh hails from a family of knowledge and wisdom and has studied under various ulama including the teachers of Shaykh Abdur Rahman as-Sudais amongst others.
Shaykh Hasan Ali
Sheikh Hasan was born and brought up in the West Midlands. His Islamic education began with the memorisation of the Qur’an followed by learning the Arabic language together with many other sciences. In 1997, after nine years of studying the Islamic Sciences, he completed his Aalimiyyah (MA Islamic Studies eqv), graduating from the famous Madrasah Qasim Al-Uloom, in Sylhet Bangladesh (Dargah Madrasah) where he came first in the entire regional board among thousands of candidates. Sheikh Hasan also has an MA in Educational Psychology from the Institute of Education, University of London.
Following his graduation, he served as the Imam of the London Islamic Cultural Society in North London for several years, where he set up the excellent Safar Academy, a weekend Islamic School which he still runs to this day. Between 2000 and 2003 he was the Imam, Head of Islamic Studies and Head of Arabic Studies at Yusuf Islam’s Brondesbury College for Boys in Kilburn, North London. In 2003, he was among the founding team of scholars, who set up Ebrahim College in East London where he is now a member of the board of Directors, and also teaches Philosophy of Religion, Usul al-Fiqh, Tafsir of the Quran and Islamic History. He is also well known in the community for being an inspirational speaker on a wide range of topics at masjids, universities, colleges and in the media both in the UK and abroad.
Shaykh Abdur Rahman Ibn Yusuf
Shaykh Abdur-Rahman ibn Yusuf Mangera has been studying the traditional Islamic sciences and writing scholarly works for most of his life. He completed the bulk of his studies at Darul Uloom Bury, North England, where he memorized the Qur’an by the age of fifteen and thereafter went on to complete a rigorous, six-year Shari‘a program. He graduated from this program with authentic certifications (ijaza) in numerous Islamic disciplines, including Arabic, Islamic jurisprudence, and hadith (with particular emphasis on the six canonical collections of hadith (Sihah Sitta) and the Muwattas of Imam Malik and Imam Muhammad. His teachers at Darul Uloom Bury included Shaykh Yusuf Motala and other students of Shaykh al-Hadith Mawlana Muhammad Zakariyya Kandhlawi. Source: www.whitethreadpress.com
Shaykh Habibur Rahman
Shaykh Habibur Rahman was born in Bangladesh and memorised the Quran at an early age. He studied Islam in respectable institutes in UK and then went to study in the famous Islamic University Madina under various scholars. The Shaykh took a degree course in English and Computing in the UK. Currently he is the director and head of various organisations including Khateeb and Imam of Ford Square Masjid and is the head of Madinatul Uloom, UK. You can visit them on www.madinatululoom.co.uk
Shaykh Muhammad Sibini
Shaykh originates from Damascus, Syria and specialises in Sha’fi Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, Arabic and Seerah amongst many other sciences. He currently teaches at the prominent Ebrahim College, London. www.ebrahimcollege.org
Shaykh Muhammad Taha Laher
Was born and brought up in London in a scholarly family where he began his studies.
He left his studies at University to pursue the traditional Islamic sciences (Aalimiyyah) at Jamia tul Ilm wal Huda, Blackburn. He graduated from Darul Uloom Al-Arabiyyah wal-Islamiyyah, Kent under the supervision of Shaykh Mufti Umar Farooq with authentic certifications (ijaazah) in numerous Islamic Disciplines.
He has served as the Imam of Khatm-Nabuwwah Academy in London along with other numerous positions teaching, lecturing and chaplaincy.
Currently involved in various fields of work, serving as Manager of PR at Ummah Welfare Trust and along with a couple of scholars, has set up the Luton Da’wah Academy providing College and Traditional Islamic Education to the community.
Ustadh is a passionate seeker of knowledge and is always keen to learn.
Shaykh Ruhul Ameen
A young a dynamic speaker, Shaykh Ruhul Ameen graduated as a qualified Alim from Madinatul Uloom Kidderminster under notable and well respected scholars.
He currently teaches at many institutes in London. Shaykh made his first public course appereance with Baitul Hikmah, prior to that he has been lecturing and doing speeches on various organisations.
The Shaykh is currently studying at the University of East London.
Shaykh Mufti Umair Zulfiqar
Mufti Umair Zulfiqar Graduated in Double MA in Islamic Studies from Darul Uloom Karachi and Arabic, followed up by 2 years in specialise in placing Islamic verdicts on contemporary issues. One scholar who has also studied under Shaikh Taqi Uthmani , Shaikh Abdul Haleem Nomani, Mufti Rafi Uthmani and many others. Presently studying BSc Economics and Law at University of East London.
Ustadh Abdus Samad
Ustadh Abdus Samad studied under Mufti Umar Farooq and graduated from Darul Uloom London and has obtained an additional MA from Birbeck University and spent one year in Syria, learning the traditional sciences.
Shaykh Muhammad Jihani
Formerly the pride of the Libyan national football team, moved to the UK where the state of the Ummah sparked a fire within his heart initiating his mission of Da’wah. The Sheikh’s simple lifestyle and unique Da’wah techniques have been the cause of his success in this field, with hundreds if not thousands of shahaadahs under his name. However, due to immense humility and sincerity, Sheikh Muhammad Jihaani is hardly known amongst the masses, but nonetheless greatly respected by the few. source www.ar-rawdah.com
Imam Bashir Ahmed
Imam Bashir has studied the traditional Islamic studies in various institutes such as Madinatul Uloom, Al Jameah Al Islamiyyah as well as studying abroad in Syria
He is currently a prison chaplain working with Muslims and Non-Muslims in prison. Imam Bashir Is also the head of Al Qalam Institute in South England.
Barrister Rizwan Hussain
Brought up in Loughborough, after which he pursued studies in Law, graduating as a Barrister. His previous job role included being a police officer for less than two years. Brother Rizwan is currently a much loved presenter for Channel S and Islam Channel and active in charity work and carries out Barrister duties.

Ustadha Bint Ahmad
Born in London, Ustadha Bint Ahmad is an emerging young female scholar of the traditional Islamic sciences. Her studies led her to seek knowledge from prominent scholars. Upon completing the ‘Alimiyyah in 2007, [under the guidance and instruction of Shaykh Muhammad Bilal bin Isma’eel of Madrasah al Zahra, UK], she immediately began working within the community.
She delivers inspirational talks to a range of audiences in Masajid, universities and conferences as well as offering advice to sisters. The Ustadha has delivered many short courses, a few include: The Ideal Muslimah, Islamic Manners, The Path to Paradise and Muslimah Gems.
After completing her formal Islamic studies, she continues seeking knowledge from various prestigious scholars.
Since 2007 till present she teaches at Madrasah Al Zahra ‘Ilmiyyah Institute, London, UK, and she is the main course instructor and author at MH Islamic courses.
Ustadha Ridhwaanah Bint Nasir
Born in London, Ustadha Ridhwaanah began her studies into traditional islamic sciences in 1996 at Jami’ah lil Banaat, Manubar, India. Completed her Aalimiyyah at Jamea Al-Kauthar in 2002 under the supervision of Shaykhul Hadith Maulana Fazle Haq Wadee (Hafizahullah).
She has been involved in various teaching and da’wah positions since then. Ustadha has taught at Upton Lane Mosque, Green Street Mosque, Forest Gate Mosque, Seven Kings Mosque, Imam Zakariya Academy School.She has delivered speeches, courses and halaqaat for various sisters’ groups, established the adult post 16 female Islamic Studies weekend madrasah which has been running successfully for 5 years now mashaa-Allah. Taught Aqeedah, Arabic, Hadith, Tafseer, Fiqh.
Currently the Islamic Studies Coordinator at Rabia Education Trust, Luton and Ustadha of Aalimah course.
