About Baitul Hikmah
In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful.
All praise is for Allah the Lord of All the world and peace and blessings upon The Messenger Muhammad, his family, his companions and those who follow him.
Baitul Hikmah (BH) was founded in 2007 with the intention to disseminate and revive classical Islamic knowledge to the growing number of practising brothers and sisters, keeping the level of teaching suitable for all. Baitul Hikmah organises structured courses, taught under the banner of Ahlus-Sunnah Wal-Jamah, a representation of the majority of the Muslims, through unbroken chains of transmission going all the way back to our blessed Rasulullah Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), teaching from the Qur’an and Hadith as shown by our rightly guided scholars.
In addition we organise heart melting and stimulating lectures to inspire every person to create the Love of Allah and His messenger Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) in our hearts.
One of our key objectives is to keep admission fees to a minimum, to benefit everybody. Baitul Hikmah has a special consideration for those who cannot or are unable to make payments due to circumstances, we don’t want to turn people away due to financial troubles.
